QSC UK and Ireland to reopen Weybridge Education Centre

Classes begin in August after extensive consultation and new safety measures

QSC has announced that on August 4, 2020, it will reopen its Weybridge Training Centre, which delivers specialist AV courses to more than 1,000 industry professionals every year.

In advance of the reopening, QSC performed a detailed risk assessment, outlining comprehensive measures to ensure the safety of both visitors and staff. As a result, all students will be provided with visitors’ guidance and procedures prior to their visit.

In addition, QSC has transitioned more in-person trainings to be offered as live webinars to provide greater flexibility. Classrooms, meeting rooms, and other visitor-facing spaces have been reconfigured to accommodate physical distancing requirements, and class sizes have been reduced accordingly.

“Life has changed for us all over the past few months and we, like you, have been doing our part to harmonise and adapt to the new norm,” said Duncan Savage, managing director, UK and Ireland, QSC. “We have truly enjoyed engaging with customers via live streamed educational webinars for the last three months, and now we are very excited to open our doors again.”
