TrueSync Media integrates Custom Channels Pro music solution

Creator of TrueSyncTV for businesses has integrated Custom Channels Pro, a hardware-free way for signage integrators and CMS providers to stream curated music with licensing for public performance

TrueSync Media, creators of TrueSyncTV, a free, fully branded TV entertainment network for businesses, has integrated Custom Channels Proa licensed music solution designed for digital signage integrators and CMS providers to bundle music with signage.

Developed specifically for AV integrators, CMS providers, and platform operators like TrueSync Media, Custom Channels Pro provides a hardware-free way to stream curated, brand-appropriate music with full licensing for public performance. TrueSync Media says it can be incorporated into workflows through a single stream URL. There’s no need for additional hardware or apps.

According to Jeff Busch, chief revenue officer at TrueSync Media, the partnership with Custom Channels opens the door to new revenue streams and bundled content opportunities.

He said: “Custom Channels Pro changed the game for us. It’s no longer just about what people see – it’s about what they hear. By adding licensed music to our video content offering, we’re creating a richer, more complete experience for venues and their guests.”

Busch says that, before the integration of Custom Channels Pro, he and his team faced a common industry challenge: clients wanted background music to match the on-screen visuals, but there wasn’t a simple, legal, and cost-effective way to deliver it. Many businesses resorted to playing music from unlicensed sources or consumer apps, unaware of the liability they were incurring, he says.

Busch explained: “We knew our customers were either skipping music altogether, or relying on workarounds that didn’t scale well – or worse, exposed them to legal risks. We needed a turnkey solution that made it easy to offer both video and music in a bundled service, without adding complexity for us or for the venue.”

Mark Willett, head of partnerships at Custom Channels, added: “Before Custom Channels Pro, providers had to stitch together clunky, piecemeal solutions, or avoid music altogether.
