Samsung has been announced as an official screen partner for the TGL presented by SoFi, the new, primetime team golf league backed by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s TMRW Sports. TGL’s SoFi Center, in Florida, USA, will showcase Samsung’s LED displays across TGL’s season of matches beginning this January, 2025.
TGL presented by SoFi is a new golf league, combining advanced technology with teams of top players from the PGA Tour for two-hour weekly competitions in prime time. Six TGL teams representing six different cities will go head-to-head in a season-long competition at SoFi Center, a first-of-its-kind venue built specifically for TGL on the campus of Palm Beach State College.
SoFi Center will feature Samsung outdoor LED display technology in the main entrance, as well as LED video screens and ribbon boards that will encircle TGL’s tech-infused field of play.
Additional Samsung LED displays to be used at SoFi Center, include:
- Marquee outdoor video wall: A nearly 600 sqft outdoor LED video wall will greet guests to the SoFi Center above the venue’s main entrances. Product: Samsung XRB Series Outdoor Display (5,000 nit brightness, 3.9mm).
- Field of play video boards: On each side of TGL’s massive projection screen used for competition will be two nearly 1,250sqft LED video boards. - Field of play ribbon boards: TGL’s field of play will be surrounded by nearly 900 linear feet of LED ribbon boards at the field level and upper levels. - Team Benches: Indoor displays will comprise each team bench, bringing these areas to life with team branding. Product: Samsung VMR Series Indoor Display (1,000 nit brightness, 2.6mm).
