Samsung has released a new 85″ addition to its interactive touchscreen display series which it hopes will transform collaboration and communication for in-person, hybrid and remote education and business environments.
The larger model adds to existing 55″ and 65″ products and is hoped that the increased real estate will enable more collaboration capability for those using it ‘on campus’, so to speak, as well as those contributing/accessing content remotely.
“The current hybrid model of education and business implemented across industry has increased the need for technology solutions that foster engagement,” said Mark Quiroz, vice president of marketing, Samsung Electronics America. “The optimised open forum capability of the new 85-inch Interactive Display enables students and business leaders to work together in real time, adapting seamlessly to current and future learning environments.”
As with the smaller models in the range, the 85″ display has connection options including USB, HDMI, DP, NFC, OPS slot and screen-sharing capabilities that enable collaboration and provide interactive content visibility, notation and sharing from a variety of devices.
