New monitor designed to declutter desktops and optimise user wellbeing

Sharp NEC Display Solutions has announced its new NEC MultiSync E273F monitor which has been designed to optimise user wellbeing through single-cable connectivity

Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe has announced its latest desktop monitor, the NEC MultiSync E273F, features single-cable connectivity aimed at delivering advanced ergonomic features to optimise user wellbeing together with and powerful performance for “decluttered desktop solutions”.

The E273F features an LCD 27″ Enterprise display and 65W USB Type-C connectivity standard which will help to declutter desktops with a single cable replacing multiple video, audio, power and USB cables. It includes DP, HDMI, USB Type C, audio output as well as a USB-hub. The company said that users also benefit from “ergonomic adjustability” as well as built-in ‘low blue light’ and flicker-free technology that is designed to protect users’ eyes.

“The way we work is changing, and so are offices as they look to create decluttered workspaces that are optimised for hot-desking,” said Alistair Round, product manager, commercial displays at Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe. “We have designed the E273F display with convenience and ease of use in mind, harnessing the power of USB Type-C connectivity to turn the traditional tangle of monitor cables into a single, simple cable.

“At the same time, we have refused to compromise on user experience, wellbeing or performance. Our new monitor is the ideal device for organisations that want clean, tidy and high-performance workspaces, enabling anyone to connect their notebook/tablet PC to the display and start enjoying high-performance, high-resolution working from the second they sit down.”

The new NEC MultiSync E273F is available from December 2021.
