digiLED continues growth strategy with new Tokyo office

digiLED has opened a dedicated office facility in Tokyo, the second new location to be unveiled this year by the LED screen specialists. It follows the opening of a production quality control division in the new Free Trade Zone in Shenzhen, China.

Accommodating notable regional business growth, the Tokyo office will provide a more concentrated presence in the region and is an accessible venue for product demonstrations and client meetings.

LED screen industry professionals will be assisting digiLED’s Japanese customers with the latest display technology available at the new office. Managed under the stewardship of Kei Kimura – who has over 30 years’ experience working with display screens – digiLED Tokyo operation will be supported by Katsu Iinuma, technical director Japan, and Hide Nakagawa, advisor Japan.

digiLED has had a prolonged presence in the Japanese LED screen market with a number of projects completed in the region. The most recent of these installations was finished earlier this year: 162.5sqm of digiLED Stella M8o LED screen panels dressed the street-facing windows of the Tokyo Samantha Thavasa retail store, attracting passers-by with high brightness and engaging content.

“Expansion in the region has been in the pipeline for some time and to accomplish this is evidence of our success and hard work,” explained Graham Burgess, digiLED CEO. “Following the Shenzhen office launch in March, establishing digiLED Tokyo is a critical piece in our growth strategy. The Japanese market is showing encouraging potential and the opening indicates our long-term goal and investment to generating an effective worldwide service that supports its existing customers, as well as enhancing client acquisition opportunities and marketing activities globally.”
