Digital signage content creation platform provider Flypaper Studios and distributor Digi-Box have recently announced a partnership to distribute Flypaper’s Flash-based creation tools into the professional audiovisual markets.
The Flypaper offering allows users with limited PC skills not only to arrange and layout pre-created content, as with most digital signage platforms, but to create Flash-based media without the need for expensive design costs or outsourcing.
Flypaper UK MD Tony Goss said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Digi-Box who offer in-depth experience and product synergy in the digital signage/AV markets. Organisations who invest in digital signage solutions recognise that they need a powerful but easy to use content creation/management tool so that they can rapidly create dynamic and interactive content themselves on rather than going down the timely and expensive route of outsourcing to developers.”
Jon Phillips, MD for Digi-Box continued: “With a wealth of digital signage platforms out there, the ability to create your own content adds a whole different dimension to this product and its merits. We are excited to be part of this and can’t wait to see the results. Flypaper offers a simple yet highly effective tool for ensuring your digital signage assets are consistently delivering the right message at the right time at an affordable price”.
In addition to the digital signage licence, users who would like an even fuller feature set can upgrade to the professional licence allowing real-time network based collaboration and tracking of content distribution.
“One of the powerful features of this product is its ability to be published in so many formats. Not only can we use it for our own signage, we can publish media as a link in a web-based marketing campaign and track the results. The possibilities for its use are vast” added Phillips.
