Multiple FIFA World Cup soccer matches are being played at two Brazilian stadiums that feature Daktronics LED video displays.

The two stadiums are the Arena das Dunas in Natal and the Arena da Amazonia in Manaus, which have hosted first-round matches including Ghana vs USA and England vs Italy respectively.

Daktronics has a field technician on site at Arena da Amazonia for all matches, providing on-site support and service from before the event starts until the fans leave the stadium.

At the Arena das Dunas, the field technician provided preventative maintenance and inspection before the first match and on-site support for the third match. For all four matches, Daktronics is providing staff for the stadium with at least one engineer who can provide immediate on-site support.

“It is a great honour to be hosting such high-calibre matches at these facilities and to have Daktronics displays adding to the overall excitement and atmosphere that the matches bring,” said Osvaldo Toshimitsu of Daktronics Brazil.

Daktronics LED video and messaging display technology offers a long lifetime with minimal maintenance and low power consumption.
