CYP launches HDBaseT matrices with 4K support

CYP has announced the launch and availability of its latest range of HDBaseT matrices, which feature 4K resolution support and HDCP2.2 compliance.

The PU-8H8HBTE-4K22 and PU-8H8HBTPL-4K22 both have eight HDMI inputs and eight HDBaseT outputs and provide integrators with the technology to install a comprehensive 4K AV distribution system.

The PU-8H8HBTE-4K22 and PU-8H8HBTPL-4K22 are an advanced 8×8 HDMI HDBaseT Matrices with 5-Play convergence, and in addition to 4K support and HDCP 2.2 compliance includes LAN Serving, and PoC (Power over Cable) which negates the need to use a PSU for each receiver unit. It supports the transmission of video and multi-channel digital audio from eight HDMI sources to eight HDBaseT outputs via single CAT5e/6/7 cables up to 100m for the 8H8HBTE and 60m for the 8H8HBTE.

The units feature control via manual selection buttons, two-way IR, RS-232, Telnet or Web GUI and control drivers for a variety of key third party control systems are available. They also support RS-232 pass-through to the receivers. The matrices are designed to be used with any of the HDBaseT receivers that can utilise the PoE and LAN capabilities of the matrix such as the PU-507RX, PU-507RX-2H, and PU-515PL-RX wallplate receivers.
