Crestron’s Flex B100 Series Smart Soundbar delivers “ultimate” conference experience

Front of room solution provides native Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business software functionality in a practical design with "world-class" audio and video quality

Crestron will debut its new Crestron Flex B100 Series, a front of room wall-mount UC smart soundbar during Microsoft Ignite in Florida between September 24-27.

The new offering, according to Crestron, provides native Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business functionality in a practical design with world-class audio and video quality, plus unprecedented flexibility to transform traditional, more complicated meeting spaces into easy-to-use spaces free of table clutter.

Featuring “powerful” built-in speakers, the Crestron Flex B100 Series is designed to provide large meeting spaces with “crystal-clear” audio, whilst its beam-forming microphone array picks up voices in the furthest reaches of the largest spaces.

The embedded Huddly IQ video conferencing camera provides technology, developed in partnership with Intel, that includes 4K digital auto-zoom, an undistorted ultra-wide viewing angle of all videoconference call participants, people counting, and lifelike image quality to deliver nothing less than the best possible video conferencing experience.

The Crestron Flex B100 Series is as simple to set up as it is to use, with no configuration required.

“The Crestron Flex Smart Soundbar delivers native Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business functionality aimed at creating a better meeting and collaboration experience for every room in a company’s office space – from small huddle rooms to executive board rooms,” said Ted Colton, Vice President of Unified Communications at Crestron. “Our goal with our new Flex Unified Communication and Collaboration series is to make working and using technology a seamless experience, and not an additional hindrance for employees or a company’s IT department.”
