Projection specialist Christie is to host a new two day event offering visitors the chance to see its latest product innovations and solutions as well as assist with any customer queries.
The Christie Connect UK event, will take place in Wokingham, UK on Monday, November 13 and Tuesday, November 14. It will focus on developments in laser projection, with product managers and sales team members on hand to guide visitors through the latest technologies, including a sneak preview of the all-new D4K40-RGB 3DLP pure laser projector designed for large scale events, venues and projection mapping.
RGB pure laser systems are currently the only projectors that approach a Rec. 2020 colour space, which is set to become the gold standard for laser-illuminated projection in the future. Also on show will be the new Christie D20WU-HS 1DLP projector, which is the lightest and brightest 1DLP laser projector on the market, with BoldColor Technology for optimal colour reproduction. Further to the HS Series, Christie’s Crimson Series of 3DLP laser phosphor products will also be on display, delivering high brightness and rugged performance for large venues and staging events. In addition, Christie RealLaser RGB pure laser projectors for cinema, featuring all-in-one chassis and no external chiller will be available to view; both native 2K and native 4K models.
The event will also emphasise the importance of delivering native content, and there will be live demonstrations of Christie’s comprehensive content management and processing solutions, including the Spyder X80 multi windowing processor, Pandoras Box media servers and Christie Terra AV-over-IP system that allows 4K content transmission at 60Hz over 10G Ethernet networks. Rounding out Christie Connect’s offerings include the award-winning Velvet Apex LED, all-new UHD861-LT LCD displays, and more from Christie’s broad technology portfolio.
