Chief has launched 20 new videowall solutions in its Fusion series. Comprising freestanding, bolt-down and ceiling models, these mounts make it possible to construct video walls in locations where walls aren’t available.

Installer-friendly features include six independent adjustment knobs per display; micro-height and levelling adjustment at all column intersection points; and fully integrated cable management. The solid constructions come in a variety of configurations including back-to-back and portrait versions.

The ceiling video wall mounts will support displays up to 55in ranging from 85lb to 125lb (38.5-56.7 kg) per screen.
“This new mount incorporates many of the suggestions and feedback we receive from installers and integrators,” said Luke Westin, associate product manager at Chief. “We think they will be pleased with the ease of installation.”

The ceiling mounted video wall is compatible with traditional 1.5in NPT and Chief’s new CPA pin connection ceiling plates and column system.

Freestanding landscape models are available in 2×2, 3×2 and 3×3 orientations, while portrait options are 3×1, 2×2 and 3×2. Using accessories, mounts can be combined achieve video walls up to three displays high and any length. Portrait arrangements are available in both cart and bolt-down solutions for retail or menu board applications.

“The bolt-down is perfect for permanent digital signage in retail, corporate and hotel lobby applications, or any public space,” said Wade Link, product manager at Chief. “They also provide a great multi-monitor setup for control rooms or call centres. With interactive displays or touch overlays, the video wall becomes a great eye catcher for retail or even education.”

For maximum impact, a new extension bracket accessory makes it possible to install up to 60in screens on the 3×3 arrangement for a large 180in diagonal display.
