Dubai’s Blended Learning Plaza installs Prysm Cascade videowall (VIDEO)

GEMS Wellington Academy in the Blended Learning Plaza, Dubai has installed the Cascade 190 collaboration videowall, which creates a 75sqft (7.0sqm) digital canvas for collaborative, online and blended learning.

Michael Gernon, CEO and principal of GEMS said: “We pride ourselves on innovation and leadership in education. The Blended Learning Plaza provides a truly unique environment for our teachers and students to engage in collaborative learning.”

Cascade collaboration videowalls combine high-definition, low-energy displays with touch-enabled interaction. Users can present, share, reposition, resize, annotate and edit different types of content through on-screen touch, PCs or mobile devices. Multiple, simultaneous live inputs can be displayed and interacted with on screen including video, telepresence and web apps.

Configurable workspaces allow users to share the use of a Cascade system with other groups, save their work between sessions, and pick up where they left off when they next meet. Prysm’s Cascade series is specifically designed for visual collaboration and is available in four standard sizes from 190in to 65in diagonal.
