Independent research and forecasting company Futuresource has revealed that DLP projector manufacturer BenQ’s UK market share grew to 12.3% in Q2 2014.
The three-month figure represents the third highest out of all projector manufacturers selling into the UK market.
“We’ve had a strong three months working closely with our channel partners to drive sales through to customers,” commented Royce Lye, UK sales & marketing director. “The response to our range has been positive and this is backed by the independent reviews and awards we’ve received. Together with channel partners; Midwich, Maverick, Steljes & Ingram Micro, our projector sales have gone from strength to strength in the UK.”
The company also counts strong performances from projector models including the BenQ MW853UST and the BenQ RP700+ as helping to increase its sales in the UK, as well as the award winning BenQ W1070, which has proved a hit with Home Cinema fans across the country.
