The AV User Group has relaunched its website in order to provide a focal point for its international membership.
The new site, launched this month with revised group branding, will provide members and potential members with a point of contact, a discussion forum and online resources – including webcasts from group meetings.
It will also provide a contact point and promotional gateway for the group’s sponsors.
The AV User Group now has over 300 members worldwide. It is a forum for managers responsible for their organisations’ visual communications – including the use of AV in meeting rooms, video, audio and data conferencing, video streaming, presentations and the use of collaborative technologies.
Its overall aim is to promote the effective use of AV communications technology within user organisations and to help managers maintain the skills and knowledge they need to implement AV projects and manage service provision.
The group provides a meeting point for technology managers and their internal support teams and its events provide an interface between user managers and suppliers to the sector.
Membership is free to bona fide end users and potential new members can join via the website. To contact the group go to www.avusergroup.com. And to follow it on Twitter, go to @AVUserGroup.
