UK-based CVP, a supplier of broadcast and professional video equipment and services, has launched a German operation and formed a dedicated DACH team, extending its European footprint beyond its Belgium base and into one of the region’s busiest production and AV markets.
The expansion reflects increasing overlap between broadcast and pro AV workflows, particularly across corporate video, live events and in-house content production, where demand for fast access to equipment and technical support continues to grow.
The company says the new setup will combine local expertise with its wider European infrastructure, offering faster delivery, access to stock, repair and engineering services, and support for both new and used equipment. Its marketplace and auctions platform will also be rolled out more actively in the region, targeting users looking to extend the lifecycle of kit or manage budgets more flexibly.
Marco Müller has been appointed sales director, bringing experience from both production and reseller roles in the German market. He previously worked as a camera assistant and operator before moving into account management.
Müller said the aim is to provide more responsive, locally informed support as user needs evolve across production and AV environments.
He added: “Having worked extensively in the industry, I understand the demands of our customers first-hand. In today’s fast-changing environment, they need partners they can trust. There is a clear gap in the German market, and with CVP, my team and I are excited to bring our expertise to help clients deliver successful projects without having to worry about the technical side.”
René van der Reiden added that the DACH region represents a key growth area, with increasing demand from both traditional production and newer content-driven sectors requiring integrated technical and operational support.
CVP has operated in the UK for nearly four decades and opened its European headquarters in Belgium in 2021.
