Waves Audio has launched its new CA1000 and CA2000 Commercial Audio DSP Engines – the first products of its new Commercial Audio range.
Designed for use in corporate, commercial, government, educational, entertainment, sports and house-of-worship installations, each product is a single-box software-plus-hardware turnkey solution, featuring dozens of Waves processors and integrator-ready audio processing presets.
Built to integrate into new or existing AV installations via Dante audio networking, the CA1000 and CA2000 units include 19 audio processing presets that tackle playback quality, speech intelligibility via an array of microphones and amplification systems, feedback elimination, voice processing without loss of tonality, and more.
Based on more than two-dozen Waves plugins, the presets can be further customised and stored by the integrator based on their unique room or zone requirements when incorporating media playback, wireless mics, meeting room/table mics, lectern/pulpit mics and broadcast/streaming. All presets can be customised and locked-in by the installer for individual channels, groups or zones.
The CA1000 offers processing of up to 16×16 bidirectional audio channels, while the CA2000 can be configured to process up to 64×64 bidirectional audio channels over a Dante network. The units are also surface or rack-mountable. Connectivity is provided via a 1Gb Ethernet port (RJ45) for Dante networking.
