Pioneer PRO AUDIO pops up at Glastonbury glampsite

XPRS system serves Pop-Up Hotel for DJ sets and live performances

Glastonbury’s Pop-Up Hotel, just ten minutes walk from the site, meets the needs of those who favour a little home comfort – and Pioneer PRO AUDIO was on board to provide visitors with quality sounds at this year’s renewed event.

As well as its range of luxury accommodation, the Pop-Up Hotel also boasted a bar, restaurant and pool area. The famous Soho private member’s club Blacks provided the catering courtesy of brand owner and celebrity chef Luke Thomas. To further enhance the area the Hotel staged a rolling programme of DJ sets and live performances for which Pioneer PRO AUDIO supplied the sound system. This was on the recommendation of dance music magazine and events promoter Mixmag, with whom Pioneer PRO AUDIO enjoy a close relationship, having earlier this year installed a full audio system into Mixmag’s renowned LAB LDN HQ.

For the Glastonbury Pop-Up Hotel, Pioneer PRO AUDIO supplied 2 x XPRS-15 full range active loudspeakers with 2 x XPRS-115S reflex loaded active subwoofers. A pair of XPRS-10 for monitoring completed the system. PIONEER DJ supplied CDJ-3000 and V-10 mixer for the artists.

Marketing executive at Pioneer PRO AUDIO, Federico Sidero, commented: “Every aspect of the Glastonbury Pop-Up Hotel was of the highest quality, so it was essential that the audio for the DJ sets and performances matched those standards. Naturally we were delighted to see the XPRS system working its magic in such a fantastic setting.”
