Installation and Shure are partnering together to host a free webcast later this month that will explore how the pandemic has laid bare the value and benefit that professional-quality audio brings to businesses, education and government facilities, venues, and homes.
The joint webcast, Now Hear This: The Importance of Audio, will be moderated by Installation editor, Rob Lane, who will be dissecting the pro audio installation landscape with a panel of experts, including James Kirby, pro audio analyst at Futuresource Consulting; Emma Bigg, AV designer and strategist, at Octavius RE; and Rob Smith, senior director, system sales for Shure WE.
The panel will explore a number of topics, including: the pre-pandemic landscape for pro audio installations across market verticals; what accelerated effects the pandemic has had on these markets in terms of pro audio adoption and investment; how pandemic conditions have exposed the necessity of pro-grade audio across the professional and domestic landscape, and whether the importance of audio is now generally better appreciated; the coming game-changing tech for how audio is deployed in workspaces, campuses, venues, and homes; and why audio can no longer be seen as the poor relation in the pro AV and broadcast markets.
The session is free to attend, and registration is now open. Attendees will be able to submit questions to the panel during the live playout, and the session will also be available on-demand following the event.
