Audio Visual Material signs up with Lumens

Distributor Audio Visual Material's strategy to become experts in the visualiser market has been reinforced by the conclusion of a deal with Lumens.

UK AV distributor Audio Visual Material has extended its visualiser offering further by signing a distribution agreement with Belgium-based Lumens. According to the company, the move is part of AVM’s strategy to become experts within the visualiser market.

“We have been looking for a visualiser brand to extend the choice available to resellers working with the education market,” said MD Mark Nisbet (pictured). “Lumens is a great fit and offers models relevant to all stages of education.”

Lumens focus solely on the education market and is said to provide effective, interactive learning technologies for the classroom at a competitive price. The company’s product range includes products with features such as one-touch copy, audio and video recording, built-in microphones, and support for SDHC and USB 2.0 high-speed Internet.

AVM will be offering a ‘no quibble’ replacement guarantee for DOA units as well as a 7-year lifetime warranty on all Lumens products, two years longer than the standard Lumens’ guarantee.

“AVM’s focus and length of experience in the visualiser market makes from them a good partner for us,” said Herman Nevenx, managing director of Lumens. “Lumens has a range of state of the art products and with AVM’s expertise we aim to grow our UK market.”

AVM was the founder of The Visualiser Forum and says that it has been instrumental in driving up the use of the technology in schools through extensive seeding programmes.
