Optoma says it has designed the new EH500 high-resolution full HD 1080p projector for engineers, marketeers and medical trainers who need brighter, higher quality imagery and complex detail in their presentations.
The full 3D DLP projector can be managed and monitored remotely with Crestron Roomview, Telnet, Extron IP Link, AMX and PJ-Link, which allow almost all aspects of the EH500 to be controlled across a network. Optoma describes the projector as having extensive connectivity for supporting a greater flexibility of computer and video inputs, including HDMI, VGA and DisplayPort. DisplayPort. These can be used to transmit audio and video simultaneously, but each one is optional and can be transmitted without the other. The device also has audio inputs, which eliminates the need for audio hardware and cabling.
Justin Halls, head of product management at Optoma, commented: “This is one of the most affordable 4,700-lumen projectors on the market. As well as the full HD high resolution, the projector’s10:000:1 contrast ratio and its brightness of 4,700 lumens make the images pin sharp.
“It has an Eco mode for energy saving which includes standby mode and auto power off. And because it is virtually maintenance free, it has an overall lower cost of ownership, longer life and improved reliability.”
Justin added: “We are so confident that the EH500 image colour quality will remain as good as the day it was bought, that Optoma provides a unique five-year colour guarantee.”
