InfoComm 2024: AV Stumpfl presents Ada upgrade for PIXERA 4

AV Stumpfl is showcasing the Ada upgrade for PIXERA 4, the latest developments related to SMPTE ST 2110 and a range of high-end projection screens, on stand #W2556

AV Stumpfl is presenting the latest generation of its PIXERA four media server hardware, now optionally equipped with NVIDIA’s Ada GPU architecture, at InfoComm 2014 (12–14 June), at the Las Vegas Convention Center. With 48GB of VRAM and single-precision performance of up to 91.1 TFLOPS, the new Ada card brings offers double rendering capability.

AV Stumpfl says that, whether working on complex 3D scenes or in 2D playback, the Ada upgrade allows PIXERA four users to harness the possibilities offered by the most powerful graphics hardware – as demonstrated by the high Notchmark score (GPU benchmark) for the PIXERA four server equipped with the Ada card.

Alongside the Ada update, AV Stumpfl will also introduce a new option for its hardware fleet to go with the new SMPTE ST 2110 standard for media over IP, to be released in the coming months.

InfoComm 2024 attendees will additionally have the opportunity to discover AV Stumpfl’s BLACKPEAK screen. A deep black projection screen, BLACKPEAK offers high levels of blackness even in settings with ambient light and when used with low-power projectors, the company says.

In addition to BLACKPEAK, AV Stumpfl’s US screens team will be on hand to showcase the company’s AnyShape technology, which offers custom-built projection screens with a variety of frame shapes. The idea is to break away from traditional rectangular designs, to enable designers to be more creative.
