Videri has introduced Videri Intelligence, an intelligence layer built into its digital signage platform, which the company says operates across more than 90,000 enterprise displays worldwide. The capability consists of three tools activated within the existing Portal: Videri App Studio, which the company says builds content and applications from plain-English prompts; Videri Actions, which carries out network management tasks on command; and Videri Insights, described as reading platform and engagement data to surface findings without being prompted, which is rolling out progressively.
Videri App Studio is designed to let users describe a layout, application or data source – such as a menu board tied to live inventory or a lobby wall – which is then turned into a deployable application connected to relevant business data and deployed across the fleet via the Portal. Videri Actions operates as an agent within the Portal, carrying out tasks such as swapping promotional content across playlists or adjusting brightness schedules once a proposed change is reviewed and approved, with actions described as auditable and reversible within existing access controls.
Rob Avery, SVP product at Videri, said: “For years, the category told signage operators that ‘AI’ meant one more dashboard to check. We never bought that. When you own the screen, the firmware, and the platform, you don’t bolt intelligence on. You build it in. Videri Intelligence is the platform our customers already run, with the throttle finally wide open.”
Videri Intelligence is a separately licensed capability of the Videri platform, priced to scale with fleet size. Videri App Studio and Videri Actions are available now, with Videri Insights rolling out progressively as the intelligence layer expands.
