Powersoft has released ArmoníaPlus 3.0, bringing its system management software to macOS with native support for Apple Silicon for the first time. The software remains available for Windows on x64 hardware, making the platform compatible with both operating systems.

ArmoníaPlus uses the same interface, projects, file formats and workflow across supported platforms, allowing system designers and technicians to exchange projects between Mac and Windows machines without conversion. Powersoft says this is intended to give rental companies, integrators and touring crews greater flexibility when choosing computers.
Version 3.0 also introduces performance optimisations aimed at large systems containing multiple amplifiers, speakers and control elements. The company says these changes reduce waiting times and improve responsiveness when designing, configuring, tuning and operating complex installations and touring systems.
Interactive Tuning has received similar optimisation, with Powersoft saying the update allows tuning sessions to respond more quickly. The changes are intended to maintain a smoother workflow as system size increases.
Filippo Digiugno, R&D manager, Powersoft, said: “Bringing ArmoníaPlus to macOS has been one of the most frequently requested developments from our user base, and it mattered to us that the Mac version was the same software our users already know. We also owe a great deal to everyone who downloaded the release candidate over the summer and took the time to tell us what they found. Their feedback shaped the final build, which we’re delighted to release today.”
ArmoníaPlus 3.0 has been available to download from Powersoft since September 16.
