Monitor Audio has launched the Radius Series 4G, a redesign of one of the company’s compact speaker ranges, built on its Transparent Design Philosophy and aimed at residential and commercial installations.
The range comprises three speakers — the Radius 1, Radius 3 and Radius On-Wall — alongside a range of matching accessories including a Floor Stand, Desk Pad and two wall bracket solutions. Together they form a scalable system intended to serve stereo listening, multi-channel home cinema, multi-room audio, commercial installations and near-field desktop use.
Monitor Audio’s C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminium/Magnesium) cone technology remains central to the driver design, now using a new RST III (Rigid Surface Technology) cone geometry intended to further reduce breakup and resonance across the frequency range. The range also introduces a redesigned C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter using an external magnet motor system, rather than the traditional internal puck magnet, alongside a new crossover design.
On the cabinet side, through-bolt driver bracing is used to secure drive units to the rear of the cabinet, intended to ensure structural rigidity and reduce chassis resonance. Each model features a HiVe II (High-Velocity II) port design intended to support smooth airflow and deliver tighter bass performance; on the Radius 3, the port has been enlarged by 50 percent compared with the previous generation.
The accessory range includes a Floor Stand with wooden tripod legs and cable routing through the stand to the base, and a Desk Pad made from a specific hardness of rubber for vibration isolation, with a subtle upward tilt for near-field listening. Wall mounting is accommodated via the MASM bracket for the Radius 1 and the FIX-M bracket for the Radius 3. The Radius Series 4G will be available from June 2026.
