Lumens Digital Optics has launched a Crestron Control SIMPL module for its voice-tracking meeting room system.
The new module enables fast deployment of the Lumens CamConnect Pro multi-camera system into boardrooms, event spaces, hybrid meeting rooms and lecture theatres.
CamConnect is designed to provide more engaging, in-room communications by automatically switching between cameras to focus on the active voice in the room. By pairing with directional microphone arrays from leading suppliers, Lumens’ audio-visual solution facilitates collaboration, the company says.
The new Crestron module integrates CamConnect into an organisation’s wider AV environment, which Lumens says ensures a familiar user interface and simple remote device management.
Steven Liang, head of product development at Lumens, said: “By automating the production process, CamConnect Pro transforms the AV experience within meeting spaces. The new Crestron module will help customers control CamConnect including switching between room layouts and dividing spaces into multiple rooms.”
The Crestron Control Module is now available for download in Crestron Application Market and is supplied at no extra cost.
