KV2 Audio has announced the launch of its new ESD312 loudspeaker for DJs and sound professionals. The solution joins KV2’s existing ES, ESR and SL systems, which are deployed by DJs and live performance venues.
Equipped with dual 12in bass reflex-loaded woofers, a 6in horn-loaded midrange, and a 1in compression driver, KV2 says the ESD312 delivers “3-way versatility whilst utilising just one amplifier channel”. Designed to cover a variety of audio applications, it can also function as a DJ monitor system.
The ESD312 is supported with a dedicated vertical mounting bracket for integration with VHD2.18J subwoofers or standalone operations. The company says this modular approach should help to make it suitable for touring professionals and permanent installations.
The first installation will take place at Ibiza’s famous nightclub, Amnesia, as part of its major summer upgrades which will feature a mobile DJ booth powered by the ESD312 loudspeaker system.
