Custom Channels, a provider of licensed music and in-store audio solutions, has introduced its Unified In-Store Engagement platform, a service designed to synchronise audio promotions across digital signage and loyalty applications for retail, restaurant, hospitality, healthcare and service environments.
The platform enables brands to deliver synchronised communication and promotions across in-store audio, digital signage and loyalty applications, according to the company. Custom Channels says the service addresses fragmented in-store marketing campaigns by connecting what customers hear and see at the point of purchase.
The system allows businesses to create and schedule promotions across regions and locations, synchronise overhead audio messages with on-screen content, and connect campaigns to loyalty programmes and transaction data. The platform enables brands to measure outcomes such as ticket size, promotion lift, timing effectiveness and repeat visits, the company says.
Use cases include synchronised audio and screen promotions for limited-time offers, loyalty signup reminders and recognition moments triggered at checkout, and experiential rewards such as song requests for frequent customers.
Custom Channels says research shows in-store audio promotions can increase sales by more than 20 percent, whilst synchronised audio and visual displays can improve conversion and brand recall.
