AVPro Edge launches new range of AVoIP transceivers

MXnet USP Series comprises three H.265/H.264 models built around AVPro Flow, the company's interoperability technology for mixed-vendor AV distribution

AVPro Edge has introduced a new range of AVoIP transceivers designed to support large-scale commercial AV distribution across mixed-vendor environments.

The MXnet USP Series comprises three models, all based on AVPro Edge’s AVPro Flow technology, which the company says enables interoperability across different products and manufacturers. The USP-PR and USP-PL both support 4K60 H.265/H.264 encoding, while the USP-ES handles 1080p60.

All three include a built-in digital signage player and multiview capability – 16-window on the USP-PR, seven-window on the USP-PL, and four-window on the USP-ES.

The USP-PR also features a USB-C input with 60W power delivery and 2-channel Dante/AES67 audio. The USP-PL shares the Dante/AES67 audio and adds USB HID extension. The USP-ES is positioned as an entry-level option for standard video distribution requirements.

Matt Murray, CTO at AVPro Edge, said: “The USP hardware family gives integrators tremendous freedom to build the perfect AV system for any client – everything from a single-room setup to a large-scale commercial network. With full interoperability across all models and support for standard H.265/H.264, USP empowers integrators and IT teams to create custom-fit solutions, including hardware from multiple vendors.”
