AtlasIED unveils new IP endpoint platform

New AIX system, revealed at the security and safety trade show ISC West this week in Las Vegas, combines audio, visual alerting and sensing in a single PoE++-powered endpoint

AtlasIED has introduced its AIX platform at security and safety trade show ISC West 2026 – which is taking place from March 25-27 – presenting what it says is a new approach to IP-based endpoints that combines audio, visual notification and sensing capabilities within a single system.

Designed around a modular architecture, AIX brings together loudspeakers, displays, LED flashers and expansion modules into a unified endpoint designed to operate over a single network connection. The platform uses PoE++ to support higher power requirements, while remaining compatible with PoE+ infrastructure.

The system is designed to support a range of functions typically handled by separate technologies, including public address, visual alerting and environmental monitoring. Expansion modules allow additional capabilities such as gunshot detection and camera-based object recognition, with processing handled at the edge.

AIX supports ONVIF, enabling integration with video management and security systems, and is designed to work alongside third-party notification platforms such as InformaCast and Syn-Apps. Centralised configuration, monitoring and updates are handled through AtlasIED’s Site Manager software.

The platform also incorporates environmental sensors for monitoring temperature, air quality and other conditions, alongside configurable visual messaging and multi-language support. A structured priority model is designed to manage simultaneous events and ensure consistent system behaviour.

John Ivey, CEO, AtlasIED, said: “Security across numerous sectors is becoming increasingly important, and our industry’s advancements must keep pace to protect those who depend on us. The launch of AIX represents years of observing how the IPX series can positively impact lives, and it marks a significant step forward in our commitment to safety and protection.”

The initial AIX ecosystem includes a range of ceiling and wall-mounted endpoints with integrated loudspeakers, displays and microphones, alongside expansion modules and accessories.
