Adder Technology has announced AIM 6, the latest release of its AIM IP KVM matrix management software, introducing a rebuilt interface designed to simplify the management of complex ADDERLink INFINITY matrix environments.
Developed in response to customer feedback and evolving operational demands, the update focuses on three areas: system visibility, administrative control and desktop usability. Administrators gain real-time insight into users, devices and connections across the matrix, alongside streamlined navigation and faster configuration workflows. The release also strengthens security through improved front-end protection and user access management.
Desktop operators benefit from an enhanced on-screen display (OSD), making it easier to switch between connected systems with minimal disruption to workflow. Adder says the interface has been designed to remain consistent and accessible across different environments.
John Halksworth, senior product manager at Adder Technology, said: “As IP KVM deployments grow in scale and complexity, visibility and control become critical. AIM 6 is a fundamental step forward. We’ve rethought how users interact with the system at every level, giving administrators clearer insight and faster control, while making the desktop experience more responsive and intuitive.”
An early access release is available immediately for existing customers running an ADDERLink INFINITY matrix with an ADDERLink INFINITY Manager. ADDERLink INFINITY Manager servers will ship with AIM 6 preinstalled from June 2026. Customers receiving units between April 15 and June 1 can upgrade via the same early access link.
