His new role in Yamaha’s Global Pro Audio Technical Marketing Group, based at the company’s R&D Centre in London, will see him performing a key role in supporting the expansion of Yamaha’s Commercial Installation System business around the world.

“Karl is uniquely qualified for this new position in an important segment for Yamaha’s future business growth. I would like to thank him for all he has done for us and wish him every success in his new role,” said Nils-Peter Keller, marketing director, Pro Audio at Yamaha Music Europe.

Murphy (pictured right) joined Yamaha in 2009 maximising sales and business development opportunities in the company’s Electronic Keyboard Division, before moving to the position of southern UK and RoI sales representative at Yamaha Commercial Audio last year.
