USSI Global, which provides network and digital media solutions for three core industries of broadcast, digital signage, and electronic business and consumer solutions, has added an experienced AV and digital signage professional to its leadership team.
The company has appointed Christina Murgo to the digital signage and technology group as director of sales and business development effective immediately, leading a new initiative to bring the company’s enterprise-level project management model to a broader customer base. She reports to chief revenue officer Amanda Flynn.
Murgo is tasked with applying USSI Global’s model to meet the needs of medium-to-large digital signage networks that can benefit from a turnkey approach. That includes developing custom service plans and selecting value-added services that align with the capital budgets of each customer and preserve the long-term integrity of the technology and infrastructure. Murgo has 25 years of experience across diverse roles with NEC, Scala and AVI-SPL.
She said: “My primary goal is to open new avenues that generate business opportunities with customers that operate on a smaller scale. That includes regional retail and restaurant chains with several hundred sites that may not be familiar with USSI Global, and other digital signage verticals that the company has traditionally not served.”
She added: “In addition to developing custom plans that appeal to a broader customer base, we’ll build visibility and expand clientele through strategic partnerships that introduce USSI Global to a wider audience.”
Flynn commented: “Christina brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of strategically capitalising on untapped market opportunities and transforming innovative concepts into profitable realities. Her impressive career includes roles with leading CMS manufacturers, service providers, and integrators, where she excelled in driving business growth and forging robust relationships across the US, Canada, and UK. We are thrilled to welcome Christina to the USSI Global and look forward to her contributions.”
