Steljes adds more people

Steljes, who recently appointed Mark Mason as national sales manager, continues on its growth plan with the addition of several new people to bolster its sales organisation.

UK distributor Steljes has announced a number of new appointments to support the company’s ambitious plans for growth in its key markets.

The sales department has made several new appointments to augment the existing team. Nephi Pratt joins Steljes as key account manager for the south region responsible for the company’s larger channel partners. Prior to Steljes, Pratt worked at Sahara and has many years experience in working within the channel. Stuart Whitby has been appointed as ICT partner manager with specific responsibility for Steljes partners in BSF, academies and capital projects. Both Pratt and Whitby will report to Mark Mason, National Sales Manager, at Steljes.

Tom Flowers and Tom Simpson complete the new starters in the sales team and join Steljes as internal account managers. They will be part of the team that is the primary interface between Steljes and the reseller channel.

With the increasing demand for AV and complementary products, new resources were also hired in the product marketing team to cope with demand. Three new product managers have been appointed – Chris Mellowship, Mohammad Oftadeh and Liam Ryan (pictured). Mellowship will have specific responsibilities for business development and growth within Steljes’ projection and flat panel business. He joins Steljes from C2K/Maverick where he held a similar position. Oftadeh, previously at GV Multi-Media, will be responsible for Steljes’ range of complementary products whilst Ryan’s remit is to grow Steljes’ video conferencing and visualiser portfolio. Ryan has many years experience in working with the channel and was previously at Westcon Group.

“Steljes values its strong working relationship with its resellers and constantly strives to offer them the highest levels of support to make us the distributor of choice for the channel,” said Martine Dodwell-Bennett, sales and marketing director. “All our new appointments bring with them an in-depth knowledge of the industry. Their experience will be extremely invaluable to Steljes as we continue to help our resellers exploit the opportunities in our key markets with our existing portfolio and with the new products that we will be launching later this year.”
