Rowlands heads Installed Sound division for Music Group in APAC

Following his recent appointment heading the business development efforts of Midas, Klark Teknik and Turbosound, Music Group has announced that Graham Rowlands will also take on responsibility for Music Group's Installed Sound (IS) division in the Asia-Pacific region.

Following the recent appointment of industry veteran Graham Rowlands to head the business development efforts of Music Group Professional brands Midas, Klark Teknik and Turbosound, the company has announced that Rowlands will also take on responsibility for the Installed Sound (IS) division in the Asia-Pacific region. Aimed at the integrated systems market, the IS division encompasses offerings from across the stable of Music Group brands, including the Behringer Eurocom line of DSP-based auto-mixers, integrated mixer-amplifiers and professional installed loudspeakers.

Having most recently served as regional sales director Asia at Harman Professional, Rowlands is well acquainted with Asian markets. From his base in Kuala Lumpur, he has been responsible for solid sales growth across 12 Asian countries – with over 16 years of experience managing pro audio distribution in the region. He also operated successfully at the distributor level, most notably placing several Midas consoles in the Sydney Opera House during his tenure with Australia’s National Audio Systems (NAS).

“We are building on success in the region and I am confident that Graham will amplify that success,” stated Music Group founder and CEO Uli Behringer. “Graham’s experience at the contractor level, combined with his extensive network of partners in both install and pro audio across Asia, will be invaluable as we continue the growth of one of the most progressive install products lines to come along in decades. The combined power of Midas, Klark Teknik, Turbosound and Eurocom allow Music Group to take on nearly any integrated system challenge across the APAC region.”

Rowlands will operate from Kuala Lumpur, and is expected to share time between his native Australia and the Music Group City factory complex in Zhongshan, China.
