Riedel Communications has appointed Ulrich Voigt as director of live production solutions, with responsibility for driving the continued development and integration of the SimplyLive product family into the company’s broader live video strategy.
Based in the Frankfurt area, Voigt will report directly to Jan Eveleens, CEO product division. Voigt takes over the SimplyLive leadership role from Luc Doneux, effective mid-October 2025. Riedel says the appointment is designed to further align SimplyLive’s software-based production tools with its portfolio of video, audio and intercom systems.
A broadcast industry veteran with more than 25 years’ experience, Voigt previously served as global head of product management and cloud transformation at Vizrt. His background also includes senior roles at Qvest Media and IBM Global Business Services.

Riedel confirmed that Luc Doneux, who led SimplyLive through its integration into the company, will step down at the end of the year and continue to work with Riedel in a consulting capacity to support strategic projects and ensure a smooth transition.
