Reflex adds to sales and technical teams

Reflex has announced two new appointments - Tony Patterson to the role of senior account manager and Sam Smith as technical design manager.

Reflex has announced two new appointments – Tony Patterson to the role of senior account manager and Sam Smith as technical design manager.

Patterson brings with him 20 years’ experience of business development and account management within the AV industry.

“These are exciting times as audio visual technology plays an ever an increasing critical role in our working environments,” said Patterson. “I am very excited to be joining an integration company that has the engineering pedigree and technical skill sets to deliver leading edge audio visual solutions.”

Andy Read, Reflex’s sales and marketing director explained: “I’m very pleased to welcome Tony into Reflex, he has exactly the skills and experience we were looking for in this role; we have ambitious growth plans for our corporate sector business over the next few years and I’m really looking forward to working with Tony to help us realise them”

The second of the new appointments sees Sam Smith join Reflex’s technical design team. Smith received a HND in audio technology and his varied experience including three years designing PA-VA systems for TOA and two years at Crestron gaining a DMC-E qualification.

Smith was also the assistant engineer on Heather Small’s 2006 album Close to a Miracle and received credits on the album.

“I’m excited about joining Reflex and getting the chance to work closely with clients on designs and then being able to witness the end results,” commented Smith.

Andi Allen Reflex’s senior design engineer stated: “Sam Smith joins the pre-sales team as a technical design manager, working predominantly with existing University customers. His prior experience includes time at TOA Corporation and as part of Crestron’s in-house system design team. He also has a beard and several retro games consoles.”
