Q-SYS, a division of QSC, EMEA, has announced the appointment of Rob Sherry, pictured, to regional director, northern and eastern Europe and managing director, UK and Ireland. Concurrently, Duncan Savage will be promoted to vice president and general manager, APAC.
Sherry joined the company in September 2020 as sales manager, in the relatively early days of the UK business. Having worked in large venue live sound applications for several years, the company says Sherry increased engagement and grew the systems business, and as a result, he was recently promoted to sales director.
Markus Winkler, executive vice president, EMEA & APAC, Q-SYS, said: “Rob’s experience in guiding the ever-expanding sales team and continuing to advance the UK business stands him in good stead to lead the UK team into this new stage of maturity. I look forward to seeing the future continued development of our business in the UK under Rob’s leadership.”
