Planar and Leyard Europe, developers of visualisation technology, have announced the addition of Filip Cogghe as vice president of sales and marketing for Europe. Beijing-based Leyard acquired Planar Systems in 2015, but the pair still operate as separate brands.
Cogghe joins the company with more than 25 years of experience in the AV and display technology industries, most recently serving as sales director for global and strategic corporate sales at Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe.

Filip Cogghe is based in the Brussels metropolitan area and graduated from Thomas More University of Applied Sciences.
