MultiDyne appoints APAC sales director

Alex Collins brings more than 20 years of broadcast and pro AV experience to fibre transport and signal conversion specialist, which will exhibit at Singapore Expo from May 20-22

MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems has appointed Alex Collins as sales director for APAC, as the company looks to strengthen its presence across the Asia-Pacific region.

Collins brings more than 20 years of experience across broadcast and pro AV, including over a decade of channel management across Southeast Asia and broader APAC markets. He previously held senior regional roles at Vizrt, Ross Video and Nevion, where he worked with broadcasters, systems integrators and production companies across Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Korea, Australia and New Zealand.

Collins said: “APAC is a very dynamic and relationship-driven region, and success requires a strong local presence combined with trusted channel partnerships. MultiDyne has built a strong reputation for delivering reliable fiber transport and signal conversion solutions, and I see tremendous opportunity to expand that visibility throughout the region.”

He will focus on regional sales development, channel partnerships and business expansion, reporting to Sebastian Mucha, executive vice president of sales and strategy at MultiDyne.

Collins added: “The channel is absolutely critical in APAC because local partners understand the unique requirements of each market. Our goal is to build a highly strategic partner ecosystem that supports sustainable growth while positioning MultiDyne as a preferred technology provider for broadcast, live production, sports and professional AV applications.”

MultiDyne will exhibit at BroadcastAsia 2026 at the Singapore Expo from May 20-22, booth 5D2-3, where it will demonstrate its SilverBack fibre camera systems and VersaBrix signal transport solutions alongside its broader portfolio of fibre transport and IP-enabled infrastructure products.
