Hewshott has announced new appointments and key promotions within its UK team. Hewshott has added Matt Hall, an integration specialist, as the newest member of the team. Additionally, Joe Stevens has been promoted to senior technology consultant, and Darren Gatenby has been appointed as head of higher education.
Daniel Lee, managing director, Hewshott UK, said: “Matt’s expertise adds another layer of depth to our capabilities and ability to serve clients more holistically. With his background in IT and project delivery from the client-side perspective, he really will bolster our experience in those areas.”
He added: “It brings me great pride to acknowledge the hard work and dedication that Joe Stevens has shown over his five years at Hewshott. His promotion to senior technology consultant is because of his phenomenal appetite for learning and consistently applying himself.”
Finally, he commented: “Furthermore, Darren has demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic vision since joining Hewshott almost 10 years ago, especially on the higher education projects he has managed in that time. I am sure he will excel in this new role.”
The appointments come just a few months after the hiring of Asha Northway as business development manager,
Joe Stevens has been with the company for over five years. Starting off as an apprentice, he worked closely with the Hewshott teams across the globe and quickly moved up the ranks.
“I am thankful to the team and to Dan for the guidance that has helped me excel and am looking forward to the new opportunities and challenges that come with this new position,” he said.
On his appointment, Darren Gatenby said, “I am thrilled to lead the higher education department at Hewshott UK. I find myself even more committed to driving innovation and excellence in technology solutions for higher education institutions, empowering them to achieve their strategic objectives.”
