Genelec moves forward with two major appointments

Siamäk Naghian (pictured) has been named managing director, while Nick Zacharov has rejoined the company as director of research and development.

Siamäk Naghian (pictured) has been named managing director, while Nick Zacharov has rejoined the company as director of research and development. 

Naghian, who replaces outgoing MD Veikko Hyvonen, joined Genelec in 2005 as head of R&D and a member of the management team. He was appointed executive vice president in 2010. Prior to this he spent time in research and development at Nokia.

Zacharov initially joined Genelec in 1990 as a trainee, progressing to the level of acoustic engineer. He went on to work at Nokia and DELTA in Denmark specialising in the field of audio quality assessment.
