Expanding in EMEA – Extron makes three key appointments

“With Extron now represented and successful in all major EMEA markets, the appointment of these managers, along with our growing number of staff, will continue to increase Extron’s support and training efforts to the highest levels of expectation,” says Jeff Gibson, vice president for international sales at Extron.

Ali S Al Daghistani joins as Extron’s new Business Development Manager for the Middle East. In his new capacity, Ali will provide training, demonstrations, and design support for dealers throughout the region. Ali earned a BSc. degree in Electronic Engineering from Ajman University. He has more than thirteen years of professional AV and communications systems experience including in-depth experience in system design, system integration and sales consulting.

Thomas Liot joins Extron as Sales Manager for France, Belgium and Luxembourg. In his new capacity, Thomas will provide local support for Extron customers including training, communications, and demonstrations. For the past seven years, Thomas worked for an industry-leading teleconferencing company in France where he built and trained his region’s wholesaler network. Thomas is fluent in both French and English.

Finally, the company has announced the promotion of Jean-Francois Zabern (pictured) to the post of European Sales Manager. In his new capacity, Jean-Francois will manage the European sales and technical sales teams. Jean-Francois joined Extron six years ago, bringing with him an extensive background in the AV industry including director and sales manager positions with UTRAM and IEC. In his time with Extron, he has provided sales support, consulting, and training to our resellers in France, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
