Datapath drafts in former Harman man to reinforce Benelux and France resource

Experienced video wall and video management specialist Francois Drouadaine to help drive awareness and sales in France, Belgium, Holland and Luxembourg

Datapath, global engineers of visual solutions, has strengthened its presence in the Benelux and France market with the appointment of Francois Drouadaine as sales manager.

Francois joins Datapath with over a decade of experience in the pro AV industry, including roles at ScanSource Imago and Harman International.

Francois’ experience is particularly focussed on video walls and video management, with his role at ScanSource primarily being BDM for Polycom. He says: “I’ve always enjoyed the fast-paced nature of the pro AV industry and Datapath are blazing a trail in video management software and hardware. I am thrilled to be joining their team at this time . They have a long list of exciting developments on their road-map and I’m excited to be able to bring these to our customer base in France, Belgium, Holland and Luxembourg.”

The France and Benelux region has seen some high-profile projects completed throughout 2018, with perhaps the most notable being the Australian National Memorial which utilises 96 Fx4 controllers – the largest project of its type in the world.

For the immediate future, Francois will be supporting Brian Coe in the region, bringing a combined experience of over 40 years in the pro AV industry.

Brian said: “We’re delighted to have Francois join our team. He has a great technical knowledge and a superb professional network. We continue to see some great projects being delivered in the region, particularly in France, and Francois’ appointment ensures this will go from strength to strength.”
