AV distributor Audio Visual Material has engaged “industry heavyweight” Ioan Williams as director of sales. Williams is well known within the AV industry, with a career spanning 23 years including roles at Sharp, Hitachi and latterly Hisense.
“Ioan brings a wealth of experience that will benefit AVM in directing our sales efforts and spearheading growth as we come out of the pandemic,” said Mark Nisbet, AVM managing director.
On his decision to join AVM, Williams commented: “I’ve spent many years working with technology manufacturers and have always been interested in the distribution side of the channel. The opportunity to join AVM was just too good to turn down and I jumped at the chance to be involved. I’m charged with managing the sales team, getting hands on with key customers and driving the significant growth plans the business has planned over the coming years.”
