Anna Valley expands AV integration team for 2018 project delivery

The company has expanded its technician base in order to deliver permanent install projects commissioned for 2018 and beyond.

Anna Valley has expanded its AV integration team with a number of new appointments. While previous recruitment drives in 2015 and 2016 centred around building a senior management team to develop the integration business unit, the company is now focussed on growing the technician base to deliver permanent install projects commissioned for 2018 and beyond.

Tom Macleod has been contracted to fill the role of local site manager for a major installation the company will be completing at a large exhibition and event space in Birmingham from January 2018 to August 2019. Macleod will be working alongside Brad Hirst who has been promoted from within the Anna Valley team to the position of commissioning lead on the same project. Paul Evans brings over 14 years’ experience in AV across a range of sectors, including education and retail, to his new position as lead engineer at Anna Valley while the new senior technician, Lloyd Wragg has installed AV in everything from prisons to classrooms and hospitals.

These appointments create three levels of competency within the Anna Valley integration team – senior, lead and junior staff – which will improve the team’s ability to deliver multiple projects concurrently against almost any project specification.

“We’ve worked hard to establish a name and reputation for Anna Valley in the integration market over the last few years and we’ve won some exciting contracts for 2018 and beyond,” said Anna Valley integration director, Nick Shaw. “The new team members will help us to deliver against these commitments and continue to grow our presence in this sector.”
