Alfalite appoints America channel sales manager

Mariano Aragón moves into role, designed to strengthen company's North American expansion plans, with focus on broadcast, virtual production and mission-critical environments

Alfalite has appointed Mariano Aragón as America channel sales manager as the company looks to expand its presence in the US. The role is designed to drive market development in broadcast, virtual production/XR, workspace, government and security operations centre (SOC) environments.

Based in the US, Aragón will lead channel strategy and work with technology partners to position Alfalite’s LED displays.

With more than 20 years of experience in international B2B sales across the broadcast-media and technology sectors, Aragón previously worked at RTVE, Level 3 and Ateme, and has spent the past decade consulting for technology companies entering the Americas.

Mariano Aragón, America channel sales manager, said: “Taking on this role represents an exciting opportunity. The US is a global leader in technological innovation and a reference in AV production and virtual environments. Being able to represent Alfalite in this context is a privilege, especially because of the unique value our European engineering and LED technology bring to the market. My goal is to build long-term partnerships with specialised integrators and expand Alfalite’s footprint across the country.”

Aragón added: “Our priority is to create long-term alliances and ensure first-class technical and commercial support throughout the US.”

Luis Garrido, executive director of Alfalite, added: “Mariano’s appointment marks an important step in Alfalite’s international growth strategy. His extensive experience in market development and his deep understanding of the broadcast and virtual production ecosystem make him the ideal professional to lead our expansion in the US market.”
