Absen invests in two additional staff for its European LED sales team

The expansion of Absen’s European sales team continues with the creation of two new roles

Absen has welcomed Geoffrey De Schepper Bruggeman as business development manager for Benelux and Will Miles (pictured) as pre-sales engineer for UK and Europe. These new additions further enhance the level of technical and sales support from Absen to the thriving European LED market.

Bringing a wealth of experience from previous project and sales managerial roles in the live events industry, De Schepper Bruggeman has a “rich understanding” of client needs and expectations within the Benelux region. Specialising in AV and LED, he worked for NOVID NV, a prestigious AV and IT rental company in Belgium. Through his experience, he has developed a refined understanding for the demands within the market, opened up new opportunities, and established strong relationships with a number of diverse partners, whilst also delivering large-scale AV projects.

“Introducing this role to the Benelux region clearly demonstrates Absen’s growth within the region and recognition of the importance for local representatives who can speak the language, figuratively and literally,” said De Schepper Bruggeman. “I am excited to join the company and explore the possibilities for Absen in the Benelux market, where there is so much potential.”

For his newly created role, Miles’ ten years of project management and coordination experience within the digital and LED markets has given him a strong track record in delivering technically demanding projects. Most recently, he was the consultant project manager for AI Arabia OOH, where he was the technical and design lead on a plethora of DOOH projects.

“I’m looking forward to progressing my career, and working with a trusted, leading LED brand,” said Miles. “This new role for the company will provide the opportunity to bring value to our markets, providing technical support from the very beginning of a customer’s journey with us.”

Ruben Rengel, Absen VP of global business development, added: “We are delighted to have two such high calibre individuals joining our team. With these new roles we are supporting our clients and putting people on the ground where they are really needed. With their strong backgrounds, Geoffrey and Will are the perfect fit to help us drive new possibilities in this exciting market.”
