Why is it important for your company to attend InfoComm?

InfoComm is our opportunity to introduce our bevy of new solutions to the commercial market, giving them the tools to address arising format and switching complexities. J+P is dedicated to increasing output for AV professionals while reducing strain to installed displays and the customer’s bottom line. Our goal is to supply installers with scalable, reliable solutions approach that reflects our unique evolutionary philosophy to sustain video for the long term.

What can people expect from you at the show?

Our ultimate goal is to allow everything to play anywhere with record-low latency, even as formats evolve and as installation requirements vary from job to job and even room to room. To make that possible, we’ve expanded our award-winning third generation line with a new HD-SDI transmitter, a four-input rackmount transmitter, and the industry’s first 4K Tiling Transmitter. These are all building blocks that integrators can mix and match to create a seamless, cost-effective, and custom video distribution system that delivers reliable, high-quality video with 16-ms latency from source to screen — all over an IP infrastructure.

As SDI has become more popular with our commercial integrators, they’ve asked for a transmitter that would work with 4K. This meets this need and gives them more flexibility. When combined with our tiling devices, enterprise and houses of worship customers can enhance their video distribution platform with appealing, professional features such as fading between cameras. It also allows them to scale any resolution up to 4K or scale 4K down to a lower resolution — all without breaking copy protection. This transmitter is another building block that adds more value to our ever-expanding 4K platform.
