Slim-Cubes are new wall-mountable rear-projection cubes with a depth of less than 422mm that, according to manufacturer eyevis are faster to install and easier to service. It is claimed to be the only rear-projection system that can be directly mounted on a wall as there is no need for space behind the cubes for ventilation or service access.
Designed for use in control rooms and TV studios, the Slim-Cubes can be mounted directly on a wall without a substructure. The space saved means that the units can be employed in smaller control rooms or studios where rear-projection cubes were not previously suitable because of their space requirements.
An integrated exhaust unit simplifies connecting them to an air-conditioning system, so that videowalls can be integrated directly into the building infrastructure.
The projection units use a single-module design with integrated and motorised geometry adjustment for quick and easy setup. Like all eyevis cubes, the new slim model uses a robust self-supporting casing and seamless screen bracket with discreet screen clamp to install big videowalls with small bezels between adjacent displays.
